Derrick Schofield (born 1928 in Rochdale — died 25 August 1999 (aged 71)) was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1940s and '50s who at representative level played for Great Britain, England, and Lancashire, and at club level for Rochdale Hornets (twice), Halifax, Castleford and Dewsbury, playing at Wing, or Second-row, i.e. number 2 or 5, or, 11 or 12.
